The UNI Trombone Studio prepares trombonists for a future in performance and education. The 21st-Century musician must be creative and versatile and the UNI Trombone Studio is a place for trombonists to develop those traits and other necessary skills to function in the music world. Trombonists with the drive to succeed will find many opportunities to excel within the UNI School of Music. At UNI, students engage in an intensive and comprehensive program of study. Studio members are consistently exposed to the faculty's teaching/performance through applied study, masterclasses, and faculty recitals. The UNI Trombone Studio also hosts notable guests artists each academic year to ensure that our students are exposed to the leading performers and pedagogues in our field. Trombonists also have the opportunity to participate in the many ensembles that are offered in the School of Music.
